Excellent black beans and rice with Cuban sandwiches.

Delicious Cuban. Top 5 Cubans of all time this placed 2nd on my list, which is very high. I did not like that there was no prices on the board, and no itemized receipts, so I had wondered if they charged me for a potato ball that I didn't receive or if they never heard me order it to begin with. We were in a rush so I didn't bother to hassle them over it, on the way out I noticed the take out menu and grabbed it, and still couldn't determine what I was billed for. However the people were pleasant, the portions were large and the food was delicious. The bathroom was very clean, which is important to me, especially after a 2 hour drive out there. Prices seemed economical considering it was a lunch meal. My son loved the gooey cheese sandwich yum.

The portabello mushroom sandwich here is unbelievably awesome. Throw in a side of yellow rice, black beans and unlimitted fountain drinks for just 8 bucks you can't go wrong. Live an hour away and don't mind driving that far for this food!

Had the Cuban combo for $6.50 which consisted of Cuban sandwich and bowl of rice and black beans. It was very good and plenty to eat. The cafe was cutely decorated. There were tables and a counter area for seating. People ere coming and going the whole time we were there.

Food was tasty and good prices but was not a spectacular Cuban. Fun place to check out but I wouldnt go back.

I always get the Jamaican Jerk pork and beans and rice combo.

I used to visit this establishment twice a week when I lived in St Petersburg, moved away in 2010, and now every chance I get when I am passing through or back in town I make sure to stop and get me a jerk cubed. Pressed and delicious!

This is our go to spot at my job, for our birthday party lunches! Great, filling and affordable food here! Pictured here is the ham and cheese melt, but I’ve also had the vegetarian and chicken melt, which are also delicious. The frozen frappuccinos and teas are refreshing as well. I saw too, they have a dinner special for only $20 where you can get 4 sandwiches and drinks. They also deliver!

Love the cubans. Great flavor and just good to me. Potato balls ehh not so much. We like more filling ourselves felt like to much mashed potatoes. Beans and rice was good though.

This place is always awesome. I live an hour and a half away. When I come to St. Petersburg this is where I eat. Every time. So freaking delicious. The black beans and rice are addicting and the pressed Cubans are super delicious.

In an area replete with great Cuban sandwiches, they have some of the best Cuban sandwiches in town. A Google search for coffee brought me there, and their cafe con leche is decent, but the Cubans were outstanding!

This is a great sandwich shop! They have a vegetarian which has tempeh on it. I usually will get that with grilled mushrooms, no cheese, pickles, mustard or mayo and then put on some calypso sauce. The calypso sauce makes it but it is really hot! Yum!

SPANISH FOOD NOT CARIBBEAN FOOD..its all spanish employees.. is completely different than Caribbean food.. the staff Is very rude and nasty.. dirty place.. food has no taste.. mostly heat up frozen food.. a bit pricey

I would consider myself a regular here since I come here at least once a week and sometimes more. I had the chance to try all of they're sandwiches on there menu and they're all pretty good! My favorites are the buffalo chicken melt and cuban pork and cheese sandwich. I love the variation of either having a 9 inch sandwich or a combo with a 4.5 inch sandwich with rice and beans scoop which is quite fulfilling for it being small. The 12 inch sandwiches are also great if you want to save half a sandwich for later. The staff here are all friendly and the price for the food here is a great deal. I would say Caribbean cafe is a nice hidden gem in St Pete for sandwiches, I would definitely recommend checking it out and trying a combo their.

I LOVE this place. What a little gem. I work right down the street and I'm so happy to find a place with good Cuban food! And reasonably priced, too. My favorite part is that you get a filling and tasty lunch special and service with a smile. It feels like your grandmas house.

My all time favorite sandwich spot! Pressed tuna melt, chicken melt, and buffalo chicken melt are my favs. Unique and fantastic! Not to mention their awesome pressed cubans and beans and rice. Wish I could give 6 stars

The Cuban sandwich was really good and the beans and rice were phenomenal...I dined in the restaurant and ordered a combo which the combo did not come with a drink.. The personal there we're not friendly at all ,thay didn't welcome the customers that were coming in or leaving. The atmosphere of the place felt very uninviting. I ate real fast and left
